Some projects emerged from deliberate business objectives (Email & Mobile Campaigns, Video Scripts), others from a restless creative impulse to take something abstract and give it shape through language, imagery, or the medium that best carried the idea forward.

Email & Mobile Campaigns

With a proven track record in B2C and B2B digital marketing, including successful SMS marketing launches, my digital campaigns for Blue Cross companies in the Medicare, Medicaid, and Individual markets set out to help members access their care and navigate the complex landscape of health insurance.

Writing

This is a small archive of written wanderings in the form of essays, interviews, travel pieces, and cultural oddities. Some were commissioned. Others simply insisted on being written.

You’ll find dispatches from unfamiliar places, thoughts that refused to stay quiet, a conversation with Boy George, and editorial work for Penguin Books.

The throughline is the search for clarity in a fogged mirror. Writing, like art, offers a chance to shape the absurd into something briefly coherent.

Video Scripts

I write healthcare video scripts that turn complexity into clarity, translating dense regulations, benefit structures, and brand narratives into content that connects. My work with organizations like Blue Cross of Idaho and Premera Blue Cross has helped improve member understanding, drive engagement, and boost satisfaction and promoter scores.

Spray & Pray

Spray & Pray is a collection born out of raw creative impulse and a defiant rejection of formal training. It's equal parts art history, muscle memory, and mild chaos. These works flirt with the primitive and the naïve, but they're also strategic accidents, compositions made in motion, a praying motion, caught between the struggle for control and surrender.
